NOTRE DAME — PARIS
As we all watched the burning of Notre Dame, it was very emotional for many, including myself, as I have gone there each time I went to Paris to experience it's awe once more. The event prompted me to pull out a very old drawing in a drawer that I had done in college about 1962-1963. I was studying art & architecture; the assignment was to prepare the watercolor paper with a strong wash of tea and then we were to do a pen and ink drawing on it. I elected to draw Notre Dame for this project, as in another class I was studying ‘History of Architecture through the Cathedrals’ — one of my favorite classes.
