I love Paris!! The Parisian architecture has remained virtually unchanged over time. After I had read ‘Paris’ by Edward Rutherford about the building of the city, I was inspired to create the large painting, ‘Map of the River Seine’. Then I initiated a series of paintings based on photographs and plein-air studies of the Parisian buildings seen from the Seine and of places I have studied during the last 50 years.
This collection is being prepared for a one–person show entitled, Old World PARIS Inspiring Today. A total of about 30 paintings are planned for an exhibition; they will be available afterward.
