Golden Paints Color Mixing
Golden Paints has put online color images of many of its paints and have created a way to visually see what happens when you mix 2 or 3 together in various proportions. I could spend a good part of my day here, playing and learning about color.

For students and others, too, there is a great little exercise online about testing your vision of colors and values. Give it a try – it’s fun!
Emile Zola Quote
Quote
‘The artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without hard work’. Emile Zola
I have often said this to my student’s. Being an artist is about 20 percent talent and 80 percent education and hardwork. The way to learn to paint is to paint! – You must put in the time on the long-road to becoming an artist.
SET YOUR PAINTING GOAL
Decide on how many hours per week you will paint. Log it, and compare at end of week. You may have to give up that lunch date.
